Wow I did not know all that about the Nutcracker! Very interesting. I agree with you about the live orchestra and so do the dancers! Right now they only have the money to have the orchestra at some performances but they are working on having it more often. I would LOVE to see Nutty C with live music next year. Also agree Herr Drosselmeyer would be 100% accused of grooming these days.
I love that some of the performances have an orchestra! Here's hoping they receive enough support to bring an orchestra in for next year. (And thanks for the link!) Yeah, today's Drosselmeyer is a creepy youth director whose pockets are always full of soft Swedish Fish. And he's a self-proclaimed Swiftie who likes to braid hair.
Home Alone. Everyone is despicable, and the only time I watched it all the way through was with a horrible horrible (repeat x infinity) person who grew up on the street where it was filmed. I treat Home Alone the way most people treat Ishtar (which I sort of loved).
